Of course, I&#8217;ve spent more time studying this book than any other, and the Bible shows that it&#8217;s valuable to us the more time we spend with it. (Listen to my message &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaktree.cc\/messages.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Understand It<\/a>&#8221; for more on this).<\/p>\n<p><strong>Micah:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The wife is supposed to respect her husband (Dan&#8217;l: he couldn&#8217;t remember what a husband is supposed to do &#8211; better find out before he gets married!)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Dan&#8217;l:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This sentence would help us get through a lot of life if we would just remember it: &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%201:10;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Then when the time is right, God will do all that he has planned<\/a>.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>There is some debate as to whether this was originally a letter directly to Ephesus or to a wider region including Ephesus, because Paul says a lot of strange things for having spent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=acts%2020:31;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">3 years in Ephesus<\/a> starting the church there. Here&#8217;s one of them: &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%201:15;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">I have heard about your faith<\/a>.&#8221; <strong>Isn&#8217;t that something you think he would know first-hand?<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>If we get nothing else out of this listening, let us never forget that <strong>we were sinners, &#8220;<\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%202:4;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>but God was merciful<\/strong><\/a><strong>&#8220;!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>In 2:12 Paul said that they had been &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%202:12;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">without god<\/a>&#8220;. The original word is <em>atheos<\/em>, from which we get <em>atheist<\/em>. <strong>A person living without God is an atheist. A believer living on his own agenda without God&#8217;s guidance is a &#8220;practical&#8221; atheist.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%203:14-21;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The end of chapter 3<\/a> would have been another great passage for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaktree.cc\/messages.aspx\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">today&#8217;s message<\/a> about understanding the Bible. Paul wanted them to know all about it (its contents), to be deeply rooted (its depth), and to know that its too wonderful to be measured (its value). <a href='http:\/\/chemor.org\/m9s8uiiu44\/'>dog heartworm with ivermectin at fleet farm<\/a> <\/li>\n<li>We all know that the Bible says that we&#8217;re supposed to love one another. <a href='http:\/\/chemor.org\/f8x1w28c\/'>ivermectina 6mg para que sirve<\/a>  <strong>But what about people that I don&#8217;t like? <a href='http:\/\/chemor.org\/w4hs3lfvfe\/'>how much ivermectin paste to give dog<\/a> <\/strong> I have always been glad that Paul included that we are to &#8220;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%204:2;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">put up with each other<\/a>&#8220;!<\/li>\n<li>I just wrote a paper on <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%204:11-13;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">4:11-13<\/a>, and this is a great translation of those verses. It really helps explain a lot.<\/li>\n<li>After our salvation our lives are to begin changing. When someone refuses to change, we are told to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%205:6-7;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not have anything to do with that person<\/a> because they are doing foolish things<\/li>\n<li>Churches and denominations have this problem sometimes: they forget that we <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Ephesians%206:12;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">are not fighting against humans<\/a>, but against a common enemy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is one of my favorite books of the entire New Testament.
