Here are some updated stats about where we are now (as of Sunday&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaktree.cc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">listening<\/a>):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>we are over one-half (55%) of the way through by days (22 of 40)\n<li>we are 45% through the chapters (117 of 260)\n<li>we are still less than one-fifth (18%) through the books of the New Testament<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Saralynn:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>It&#8217;s really cool all of the people Paul got to talk to because of the courts he was in and the places they took him as a prisoner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Dan&#8217;l:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>We would do well to remember today to <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts%2023:5;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>not speak against the leaders<\/strong><\/a><strong> of our people<\/strong>\n<li>It&#8217;s a good thing to have friends and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts%2023:16-17;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">connections in politics<\/a>\n<li>Paul never changed <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts%2026:4-23;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">his story<\/a>; it was the same each time he told it. <strong>When we do what we&#8217;re supposed to do, we will never have to worry about what we will say, whether in court or to anyone who asks. <a href='https:\/\/purplepk.com\/vucara57\/'>\u0644\u0639\u0628\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0642\u0645\u0627\u0631 \u0648\u0631\u0642<\/a> <\/strong>\n<li>Again, I wonder how the story would have changed had Paul not <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=Acts%2026:32;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">appealed to the Roman emperor<\/a> and gone to Rome as a prisoner.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This concludes the first five books of the New Testament.
