{"id":285,"date":"2008-10-01T15:03:51","date_gmt":"2008-10-01T20:03:51","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.danielgoepfrich.com\/listen-day-16-john-10-15\/"},"modified":"2022-07-31T16:16:02","modified_gmt":"2022-07-31T20:16:02","slug":"listen-day-16-john-10-15","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.theologyisforeveryone.com\/listen-day-16-john-10-15\/","title":{"rendered":"Listen, Day 16: John 10-15"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Still catching up on posting my <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaktree.cc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;Listen&#8221; thoughts<\/a> from while we were gone.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Even though Lazarus died, his sickness didn&#8217;t &#8220;end in death.&#8221; Sometimes God will use even death as another event <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john%2011:4&amp;version=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">to glorify himself<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>Jesus came by, and the religious leaders couldn&#8217;t think about anything except losing <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john%2011:48&amp;version=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">their followers, their buildings, their status<\/a>, etc. <strong>God&#8217;s kingdom is so much bigger than just our church buildings and ministries. <a href='http:\/\/batlaglobal.com\/22884348\/'>\u062a\u0646\u0632\u064a\u0644 \u0644\u0639\u0628\u0629 \u0631\u0648\u0644\u064a\u062a<\/a> <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>It&#8217;s so easy to care about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John%2012:5;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;the poor&#8221;<\/a> when they are nothing more than a subset of humanity out there, some where. Jesus didn&#8217;t care about &#8220;the poor&#8221; &#8211; he cared about the lost person who happened to be poor.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Lives are changed when people <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John%2012:9-11;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">come into contact with someone<\/a> who has been changed.<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>What good is it to &#8220;have faith in Jesus&#8221; but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John%2012:42;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">not tell anyone about it<\/a>?<\/li>\n<li>What would you do if God gave you <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John%2013:3-4;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&#8220;complete power&#8221;<\/a>?<\/li>\n<li>God doesn&#8217;t care so much <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John%2014:11;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">why you have faith in Jesus<\/a>, so long as you do and it&#8217;s genuine.<\/li>\n<li>I want to look at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=John%2015:10;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this<\/a> further in its broader context: &#8220;If you obey me, I will keep loving you&#8230;&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Still catching up on posting my &#8220;Listen&#8221; thoughts from while we were gone.
