Here are\u00a0my listen thoughts from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaktree.cc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Sunday&#8217;s passage<\/a>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I wonder if the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john%206:15;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">offer for kingship <\/a>was a test or temptation that Jesus chose to run from<\/li>\n<li><strong>Many people ask, &#8220;What does God want me to do?&#8221; <\/strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john%206:29;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jesus&#8217; answer <\/a>was simple: &#8220;God wants you to have faith in the one he sent.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john%206:35;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This statement <\/a>reminds me of another one of Jesus&#8217; teachings about those who &#8220;hunger and thirst for righteousness&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/net.bible.org\/verse.php?book=Mat&amp;chapter=5&amp;verse=6\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthew 5:6, NET<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john%206:64-65;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">This is a great passage <\/a>that teaches both 1) God&#8217;s perfect knowledge of the future and our responsibility to believe in him and 2) God&#8217;s ultimate hand in giving salvation.<\/li>\n<li>I don&#8217;t know how anyone can read <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john%208:21-58;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">this conversation <\/a>and say that Jesus never said he was God.<\/li>\n<li><strong>I love this guy&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john%209:25;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">testimony<\/a>!<\/strong> &#8220;I don&#8217;t know about all the fancy stuff. All I know is this: I was blind, but now I can see.&#8221; <strong>It doesn&#8217;t get any better than that!<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>This lifelong-blind beggar knew <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john%209:30-33;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">God&#8217;s heart behind the Scriptures <\/a>better than the teachers did.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Saralynn and I have been out of town at a conference for the last couple of days, but we were listening. hivatalos fogad\u00f3iroda I&#8217;ll get caught up on my posts in the next couple of days.
