Can you love your neighbor?<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saralynn:<\/strong> I think the invitation to the Pharisee&#8217;s house was so they could keep an eye on Jesus.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Rachael:<\/strong> If you have ears, listen to your teacher.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dan&#8217;l:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Notice Jesus&#8217; command to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=luke%2010:5-7&amp;version=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">go to the people who are receptive<\/a>. The work is <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=luke%2010:2&amp;version=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">too great<\/a> to spend lots of time and energy on people that choose to reject God. Let God work on their hearts while you go to people he has already prepared.<\/li>\n<li>I wonder how <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=luke%2011:1;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">John taught<\/a> his followers to pray.<\/li>\n<li>I find it interesting that, while there are some who exalt Mary and her role, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=luke%2011:27-28;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Jesus actually downplayed her<\/a> in the big picture in favor of anyone who listens to God and obeys him.<\/li>\n<li>There&#8217;s nothing like <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=luke%2011:37-44;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">insulting a man in his own home<\/a>!<\/li>\n<li>People who teach God&#8217;s Word have a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=luke%2011:52;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">huge responsibility<\/a> before God and toward the people they teach.<\/li>\n<li>Jesus is a divider; he makes people <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=luke%2012:51;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">choose sides<\/a>. This is exactly what <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=luke%202:33;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Simeon prophesied<\/a> he would do. <strong>It&#8217;s an all-or-nothing deal with God. <a href='http:\/\/a1qualitypolebarns.com\/yu250wud3\/'>i only use ivermectin on my horses<\/a> <\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Jesus <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?book_id=49&amp;chapter=13:1-5&amp;version=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">paid attention to the culture around him and used it<\/a> to teach kingdom principles.<\/li>\n<li>I wonder if Jesus healed people on the Sabbath day <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?book_id=49&amp;chapter=13:14-17&amp;version=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">just to stir things up so he had people&#8217;s attention<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?book_id=49&amp;chapter=14:15-24&amp;version=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">God has little patience for those who reject him<\/a> when they have lots of knowledge about him.<\/li>\n<li>What a great reminder for our <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaktree.cc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Listen series<\/a>: &#8220;If you have ears, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?book_id=49&amp;chapter=14:35&amp;version=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">pay attention<\/a>!&#8221;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Micah: Life will be easier if you obey God and harder if you don&#8217;t Nathan: What if you don&#8217;t love yourself?
