A half-hour per day is going to take some time to get used to, especially for the younger kids. <a href='http:\/\/trivialresult.com\/bmhes8hias\/'>nik\u00e9.sk sportfogad\u00e1s<\/a>  But they did really well.<\/p>\n<p>After we listened I asked if there was anything that jumped out at anyone. Here is what we heard in today&#8217;s listening:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Micah:<\/strong> Don&#8217;t test God (chapter 4)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Saralynn:<\/strong> Didn&#8217;t remember that there were sets of 14 generations; can help with dating historical events (chapter 1)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nathan:<\/strong> Serve only God (chapter 4)<\/p>\n<p><strong>David &amp; Rachael:<\/strong> Heard the names of most of our kids<\/p>\n<p><strong>Dan&#8217;l:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Three of our four kids&#8217; namesakes are referred to in chapters 1-2; two are by name (David, Rachael); Micah is the prophet who said that the Messiah would be born in Bethlehem<\/li>\n<li>How many times was something done or said in chapters 1-4 &#8220;in order to fulfill the [Old Testament] Scriptures&#8221;?<\/li>\n<li>&#8220;The eyes are the windows to the soul&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=matthew%206:22-23&amp;version=46\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthew 6:22-23<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>God will treat me the way I treat others (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=matthew%207:1-2;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthew 7:1-2<\/a>)<\/li>\n<li>God is more concerned about &#8220;being&#8221; than about &#8220;doing&#8221; (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=matthew%207:22-23;&amp;version=46;\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Matthew 7:22-23<\/a>; <a href=\"http:\/\/www.oaktree.cc\/audio\/01%20Try%20It.mp3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">listen to today&#8217;s message<\/a> for more on that)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So our family started the &#8220;Listen&#8221; program this afternoon during lunch.
