OK, a couple of things.<\/p>

First<\/strong>, the recurring title is starting to annoy me. I got through seven days, but that\u2019s it. I\u2019ll come up with something else that\u2019s, hopefully, less stupid.<\/p>

Secondly<\/strong>, Sunday at Next Level Church<\/a> was great! I connected with Pastors Mike Ash<\/a> and Scott Drummond and their wives before the service. It was good to see them again.<\/p>

The service was good, too! There were a couple of songs I didn\u2019t know and then \u201cGod of this City\u201d. Awesome song!<\/p>

Matt Keller\u2019s message rocked! He chose to begin One Prayer<\/a> with \u201cGod is Speaking\u201d<\/strong> instead of re-hashing his video message (\u201cGod is Faithful\u201d) that he had to record and submit over a month ago. I almost wish we could show that one this week at OTCC<\/a>. (You can watch for it to show up and listen to it here<\/a>.)<\/p>

After the service I caught up with Matt and Sarah Keller<\/a>. Great people, great heart \u2013 \u2019nuff said.<\/p>

The next thing was to come home and say \u201cHi\u201d to everyone at Oak Tree Community Church<\/a> live via Skype<\/a>. I know vacation is supposed to be a time to \u201cget away from it all\u201d, but my brain doesn\u2019t disconnect from stuff. Anyway, Craig Groeschel brought an awesome message that \u201cGod is Love\u201d.<\/p>

The day was going great \u2013 until I heard that only a handful of people showed up to hear that message.<\/strong><\/span><\/em> Frankly, I was bummed and frustrated!<\/strong> My dad asked if people didn\u2019t come because I wasn\u2019t there. I sure hope not!!! If I\u2019m the only reason people attend (and I seriously doubt that), we might as well close the church. There has to be something more than that!<\/p>

This lines up with the series I\u2019ll be teaching for the three weeks of July when I return. There are people in our church who need a church family, all week long, not just a good song and sermon on Sunday.<\/p>
